Comedy Noir is the illegitimate brainchild of Kurt Weitzmann and
Howard Stone, two long time San Francisco patriots and renowned alternative comedy
sages. With over a half century of experience between them, Comedy Noir is the
reflection of their long stead comedic achievements.
Comedy Noir was built on the principle that the best comedy, like the best of San Francisco itself, is dark, irreverent, and unique. A good comic mind is one that subverts conventions and twists reality. In the adept hands of the producers, these shows constantly push the envelope and raise the bar of an already vibrant San Francisco comedy scene. Since it's formation in 2006, Comedy Noir has produced both stand up and comedy theme shows, showcasing the best of San Francisco, including the talents of Will Durst, Johnny Steele, Marga Gomez, Doug Ferrari, Will Franken, and Patton Oswalt, to name but a few.
